"If you're going through Hell,

keep going."

- Winston Churchill

If you are experiencing mental health problems, you are not alone, please talk about it.

If you are in crisis call your doctor, call a crisis line, go to the nearest hospital, or call 911.

ABOUT US

At Invisible Wounds, we believe no one who serves and supports others should have to face the challenges of mental wellness alone.

For more than a decade, Invisible Wounds has brought together First Responders, Public Safety Personnel (PSPs), clinicians, peer supporters, families and community partners to learn, connect and share experiences in an environment built on understanding and respect.

Our conferences and educational events are about more than presentations. They create opportunities for honest conversations, meaningful connections and learning from both lived experience and professional expertise.

We recognize the unique challenges faced by those working in policing, fire, paramedicine, communications, corrections, healthcare and other public safety professions — as well as the impact these experiences can have on families.

Our goal is to help:

- Reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and occupational stress injuries
- Increase education, awareness and understanding
- Encourage prevention and early intervention
- Strengthen peer and professional support
- Connect people with knowledgeable mental health professionals and resources
- Improve access to support in rural and underserved communities
- Bring lived experience, research and clinical knowledge together

Above all, Invisible Wounds is about people supporting people.

Every story shared, every connection made and every conversation started can make a difference. We are proud to continue creating a place where First Responders, PSPs, clinicians and families can come together to learn, connect, support one another and move mental wellness forward.

Revenue remaining after expenses is donated in support of First Responders or hospitals.
